Meet Morocco!
This beautiful tortoiseshell mix is almost 6 years young and is seeking her furrever home. Despite her name, we believe she was actually born and raised in good old Canada. But she is a world traveler at heart who loves to follow her foster parent from room to room.
Morocco is a large, medium-haired girl who is affectionate but can be a bit anxious and fairly selective about how she is physically handled. Morocco doesn’t mind being pet as long as you keep away from her lower back and tail. She appreciates a good chin scratch and some gentle forehead pets - and when she is excited, she will let you know by vibrating that fluffy tail! She will likely tolerate more handling as she learns to trust her new owners.
Morocco prefers a home with no other pets and no young children as she can use her teeth when frightened. Morocco’s front paws are declawed so her teeth are her only means of defence. Torties are known to be fiercely loyal to their owners so once you bond she will likely be your bestest bud, just give her time. This sweet girl requires urinary care food to maintain her good health.
