Meesha is a sweet girl with a big personality! Her foster family has noticed this adorable, playful girl is getting more confident and feeling more settled in every day, gaining their trust and eagerly approaching for pets. She loves chasing mouse toys around the apartment (although she runs from the wand toy!), and will occasionally get the zoomies and run laps!
Meesha loves to take in the world from great heights, so she’s very happy with a tall cat tree she can climb. She also loves to be petted and to cuddle, curling up on the couch against her foster parent whenever she can. Whether she’s playing, exploring, or looking for some cuddle time, Meesha is a chirpy, chatty kitty who loves to tell you what’s on her mind! She also has good litter box habits and won't refuse a brush, pet, or snuggle. Meesha can sometimes be spooked by sudden noises, and tends to hide when feeling scared or unsure about something, but she never lashes out! Poor Meesha clearly needed time to adjust to a new environment after her owner and loving companion passed away. But her curiosity is proving to be a strong motivator as she comes out of her shell, getting more and more playful every day!
Meesha would thrive with a patient adopter who can give her the time she needs to adjust to her new home. She has not been tested with children or dogs, but she is good with other cats after a proper introduction. You’ll definitely know she’s feeling comfy and happy when she ventures out, purrs, kneads, and flops over against you, showing her belly! Sometimes she even “tap dances” on a harder surface.
