Hazelnut has come a long way in trusting her foster family more each and every day! She especially seems to love her foster home’s tween and teen daughters, following them around when they are home, and looking for them when they are not. An independent gal, Hazelnut enjoys plenty of solo time watching birds outside, or finding a dark cozy spot to curl up in for a long nap. She does like to spend quality time with her humans each day, and to get some exercise chasing her laser pointer toy with playful bursts of energy!
Hazelnut would do best in a quiet household with older kids, as she can be startled by loud noises. She requires a patient adopter who will give her time to overcome her initial bashfulness, and to blossom into the confident and friendly girl she’s proven to be! She is on a special urinary tract diet prescribed by the vet to maintain her best health. She loves to be petted and receive back scratches.
