Bean

Hi! My Name Is Bean

This lovely soul has passed over the rainbow bridge and is with us now in our memory and in spirit. If you are looking for to share your life with a cat like Bean, please visit our Available Cats Page

Bean was found on the streets, looking a bit ragged. A good Samaritan brought her in, where she received medical care and some food to start fattening her up! Bean is very happy to be off the streets, and wants nothing more than to spend all day with her people. She is extremely affectionate, and loves to cuddle and give kisses. She’ll sit on your lap, or even on your chest, where she’ll nuzzle her nose into your armpit! Bean loves to burrow under blankets and make hidey holes for herself. Her foster parent made her a fort by hanging a blanket over the couch, and Bean loves it! The only thing she loves even more is napping on a blanket-wrapped heat pad - the ultimate relaxation!

Bean has had most of her teeth removed, so this lovely lady is on a wet food-only diet. We’re pretty sure Bean is completely deaf, based on her lack of awareness of how loudly she meows at times! She’s a chatty gal, and loves to keep the conversation going with her human. The strangest thing about Bean may be that she doesn’t seem to mind getting wet! She had to be bathed a couple of times after coming in from the outdoors, and she actually seemed to enjoy the experience (probably because the water was warm!). However, regular brushing should be enough to keep her clean most of the time, and will also help to keep her hairballs to a minimum. Bean is a perfect angel while having her claws clipped. Not a drama queen at all!

Bean was made for the indoor life. She would thrive in a household with adults, or children aged 10+. If your ideal cat spends all her time either napping (sometimes on top of you) or chatting away while following you around, Bean is the girl for you!
