Chicory is such a gem of a kitty! In foster care he has turned from a very shy guy to a kitty that demands constant attention and pets! He loves people but tends to favour 'the chosen one'. Best to have a friend for him or a solid at-home presence.
You like a cat with quirks? Chicory is the guy for you - he will lead you to his food dish when he is hungry, reach out to you for attention with his big fluffy paws (he has an extra finger on both front paws!) when he wants a pet and engage in a very lively discussion. His is also quick to communicate when he is hungry - be sure to feed him on time! He spent lots of his energy running through tunnels, watching squirrels and finding a good hiding spot - he needs to eat!!!
SPECIAL NEEDS: Chicory's sphincter does not work perfectly so his poops will randomly drop out, we keep a look out and it is mainly in the morning and night time when they fall out. He is on a stool softener that helps them move along.
He does peeing in the litterbox since we put litter attract. His sphincter may never work perfectly, he does try to poo in the litterbox, pushes and pushes but he hasn't been successful yet. It may improve over time but no guarantees. Diapers are not preferred as he has a fluffy butt and it would make things very messy to clean.
Such as sweet boy that really needs a chance. Medical records available upon request.
