I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Derby

We're happy to tell you that Derby has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Cats Page to see the cats currently available.

Darla and Derby are a bonded mother and son duo who made their journey all the way from Kuwait! Despite their relationship, the pair aren’t too far apart in age - Darla was only around one year old when she gave birth. And now, the two are the best of friends! Both kitties are extremely friendly and will begin purring the moment you walk into the room. They love people in general! One of their favourite activities is to look out the window at the people passing by, and track them for as far as they can see! They’ll also play-wrestle together, and then curl up and snuggle together in bed.

Darla is the sweetest little lady. She’ll start purring and chirping at you as soon as she sees you. She loves rubbing up on people, and getting lots of love and pats. If you lay down next to her, she will climb right on top of you and never let you leave! She adores lickable treats and catnip toys, and scratching at her scratching post. She can’t wait to find her forever family, who will shower her with attention for the rest of her life!

Derby is a cheeky little boy! He’s a major purring machine who enjoys some light scratches and chin rubs. He can sometimes be overstimulated, and he’s known to give love bites, but he’s quickly learning social etiquette and how to follow the rules! If you lay down beside Derby, he’ll curl up next to your feet for a nap. But when it’s playtime, he’ll chase after toys on strings for as long as you’ll allow, leaping and jumping all over the place.

Darla and Derby are so excited to have a chance to find their forever home here in Canada! They would be best suited for children age 10+. They have not been tested with other cats or dogs. If you can offer a safe and loving home to this adorable and well-travelled duo, reach out to Team Cat Rescue today!
