Meet Matchbox! You wouldn’t guess just by looking at him - with his luscious grey fur, green eyes that we get lost in, and sweet disposition - but this little guy had a rough start to his life. He was rescued from the cold outside and then broke his hind leg when it was stepped on. Sadly, his leg needed to be amputated but he has since recovered completely from the operation - and was an absolute model patient the entire time! Matchbox may be short one matchstick, but he doesn’t let that slow him down in the slightest. He zooms up and down the stairs, climbs every surface he can, uses the litter box without any issue, and runs circles around his older foster brother.
This kitten is the sweetest boy who charms absolutely everyone to fall in love with him instantly. He makes fast friends and within a few minutes of meeting someone, he is happy to be pet, picked up, and snuggled by them. And no one - and we mean no one - can resist Matchbox. He will melt even the most hardened “I don’t really like cats” hearts out there. He has the silkiest fur that we’ve ever touched - he makes cashmere feel like sandpaper. And his personality is just as lovely as his face - he is incredibly gentle, doesn’t bite or scratch, and is curious without being destructive. When he’s blissed out and happy, he loves nothing more than making biscuits with his paws and suckling on a blanket - which means you’ll often catch him with his tongue out or falling into a deep sleep mid-biscuit.
