From finder: I was out walking along Gilkison Flats this morning and witnessed a person step into a car with a cat carrier and drive away. I thought it looked suspicious so I crossed over to the spot and found an abandoned cat, shaking and confused and meowing. I picked it up and brought it home.
The Brantford SPCA can’t take it as it has some fur worn down under its neck and they said for that reason it could possibly be sick. Understandable. I next called the City of Brantford, animal control, and they also said they couldn’t take it because it’s not injured and it’s not on City Property!"
