Introducing Murdock, the sweetest little orange gentleman! He loves pets and cuddles, especially chin and cheek scratches! He will also allow you to scoop him up like a baby, and start purring in your arms while you rub his chest and belly. He’s a very talented hunter as well! He loves to play, whether it’s on his own, with an interactive toy, or with a human. Sometimes he’ll even fetch the toys you throw and bring them back for you to throw again.
Murdock can be a bit shy at first, but even when he’s feeling shy, he still enjoys being around people! For the first couple of days in his foster home, Murdock remained primarily in a cat house, but he still accepted lots of pets and gave the humans lots of trusting slow blinks. After a couple of weeks had passed, he had become a confident boy who owns the house! He would do best with owners who allow him to explore on his own time – soon enough, he’ll be running around the whole house, looking to play! However, due to his shy nature at first, he is best suited to a home without young children.
Murdock has really enjoyed getting to know his foster parent’s resident cat, and he even brought one of his toys over to her to see if she would play with him! He is such a loving boy and would make a great companion for another cat in his forever home. Even when his foster parent’s resident cat hisses at Murdock, he is unfazed – he just takes a step back and plans his next approach! Murdock would never even swat a fly, let alone a person or other animal.
