This sweet, older gentleman arrived from a local shelter. Because he was so matted, the originating shelter clipped and shaved his fur - an act which would cause most cats to freak the heck out. But not Mutton. He happily purred, made biscuits, and soaked up all the attention. Not to mention that Mutton got to rock a stylish sweater to stay toasty afterwards - and as you can see from his pictures, he is truly a fashion icon. He is the originator of grandpa chic. A verifiable supermeowdel. The definitive cool cat.
Mutton is the total package - along with his stunning good looks, he is the biggest sweetheart. He is angelic inside and out. He has become an instant favourite with everyone who has the pleasure of meeting him - from shelter and vet staff to his current foster. No one can resist his charm. He loves nothing more than to be near people - he adores being pet, giving gentle headbutts, sitting on a warm lap, and curling up in bed with his foster at night. If you call out to him, he’ll come running to you. If you get up from the bed or couch to do something, he’ll sit up and watch you until you return. He is a floofy, white shadow, whose favourite space is anywhere as long as it’s by your side.
Mutton also has no tail, but has no balance or incontinence issues due to it- it’s just another one of his charming quirks!
He has tested positive for FIV which is not an issue as it does not require meds or treatment and the lifespan for an indoor FIV cat is the same as a non-FIV cat. He is safe to be with non-FIV cats.
