Persia joined Team Cat Rescue as a pound kitty from Quebec, just before her scheduled euthanasia date, where she was dumped.
So she's a little mysterious. As you see, Persia has been through a lot, so she is still very much in the process of getting used to people. She is passive with other cats, and given her nature, her perfect home would have no kids or dogs.
She's a reticent little lady that is shy and reserved, but she has made progress and is coming out a little more day by day. With love and patience, she will come around very quickly. Did I tell you she quiet purrs when she eats? Its the cutest thing....oh and she loves treats!
She's SO deserving of a loving home. Persia is a lover, not a fighter. Her perfect home would be a quiet space where she can feel safe and loved. She is shy with a big heart and slender build, but she is kind, affectionate, and very worthy of her own home. ***No kids, no dogs, needs another cat****
Persia has a condition called Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). This means that her immune system attacks her red blood cells. In order to counteract this condition, she needs to stay on prednisolone. This keeps her anemia in check. She will require yearly bloodwork to ensure everything is working well
