Piper is a cute, shy little lady who may take a little bit of time to get used to her new environment. But after a short adjustment period, she will be all over you, demanding attention! In fact, she will walk back and forth right in front of you, preventing you from passing her before you bestow some more scratches upon her. She likes to be petted on her forehead, under her chin, jaws, back - just about everywhere! She will also sometimes meow at you to try to convince you to join her in one of her favourite resting spots, and of course give her some more pets once you arrive!
When not demanding cuddles or playing chase with her favourite toys (currently crumpled up paper balls), Piper loves to snooze the day away, preferably next to her human. At night, this little furball will start on top of the covers. But Piper’s foster parent reports that they’ll often wake up with Piper underneath the covers, curled up between their legs!
Piper has made huge strides with growing her confidence since coming to us, and we’re sure she’ll continue to get even more confident and show her bright and loving personality in her forever home. Piper hasn’t been tested around dogs or children, but she's been fine around most cats, and would likely be fine with any pets or people who respect her space and give her time to warm up to them!
