Starting with Reason - well, just look at this adorable orange boy! How could anyone resist that mischievous, scrunchy little face? Reason is a Gen Z kitty. Part of the Zoomie generation. One of his favourite pastimes is to chase a digital mouse on an app on his foster dad’s phone! As some of our older cats might say, what ever happened to a good old fashioned string on a stick? These young cats and all their newfangled toys! And after all that digital hunting, he loves to snooze the day away in a sunny spot with his sister. He may not be a lap cat yet, but he’s been making big strides recently with his foster family - he enjoys being pet and has recently started sleeping on the bed at night. With some time, he could be a little foot warmer at the end of your bed too!
And Rhyme, Rhyme, Rhyme - a cat so cute, it should be a crime! Okay, enough bad poetry on our part - but we can’t help but feel inspired when we look at this sweet little lady! With her soulful eyes, chocolate fur, and that little white bib of fur underneath her chin - she’s just so darn adorable! Rhyme is a timid gal who is still getting used to being around humans. Her brother, Reason, is her comfort blanket in cat form and she relies on him to feel safe and secure. Like many introverts, she can often be found a few feet behind her extroverted best friend (#relatable) and it’s not uncommon to find them curled up together in a brown-orange furry ball. Most importantly, she can’t resist the lure of some tasty treats and that will be the key to winning Rhyme’s heart.
Shy cats require a little extra patience and we recommend that Rhyme’s adopter understands cat body language, respects her space, and is an expert-level slow blinker. Due to her shy nature, she would do best in a quiet and adult-only home. Making Rhyme feel at ease and comfortable in her surroundings will likely be a gradual process but the reward of watching a shy cat relax and blossom is unmatched.
