T.E.A.M. = Together Every Animal Matters

I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Sparkle

We're happy to tell you that Sparkle has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Cats Page to see the cats currently available.

I'm Sparkle, and I was named for my sparkling personality... and I'm also nicknamed "Squeaks" for my itty-bitty squeaky meow.  But ultimately, I'll answer to whatever you call me, because I just want to be your best friend by any name!

I was rescued from a Texas pasture when I was about 5 weeks old. I was all alone and had a hurt leg. My left front leg is still crooked, and I hold it off the ground when I'm just sitting around, but I use it full force the rest of the time!  I run, and jump, and climb, and wrestle with my kitty friends just like every other kitten. I don't even limp!

But like I said, what I really want is humans to love.  My very favorite thing is being on someone. I'll flop on you during mutual nap time. I'll sit in your lap when you're watching TV. And odds are good I'll want to be in your arms, gazing adoringly at you and asking for kisses, when you're on the computer. Okay, it's not ALL the time, but you can definitely expect me to be close and snuggly a lot.

When I'm not playing or cuddling, I love bird and squirrel watching, or having a good snooze - possibly splayed adorably out on my back if my person isn't available to drape over.

I also love to play with other cat friends.  My foster siblings Nova and Dunning are wonderful, so if you don't already have a young kitty pal for me (because I absolutely have to have a young kitty pal!), one of them would be perfect!  I'm sure Team Cat Rescue could make some other suggestions, too.

I'm perfect with the litterbox and scratching post, and am basically a little ray of sunshine.

So if you're looking for a cat with lots of love to share, and are willing to share it right back, let me put some Sparkle into your life!
