FIV positive in cats means a cat has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, a virus that weakens the immune system. While FIV-positive cats can live long and relatively healthy lives with proper care, they are more susceptible to other infections. Managing an FIV-positive cat involves keeping them indoors, regular veterinary checkups, and a high-quality diet. FIV and Non-FIV can live together. It is only transferable in very deep bites.
