Wafflehouse is a friendly sweet boy who loves attention.
He has been recently diagnosed with FELV (Feline Leukemia). Feline leukemia definitely sounds scary. But while it’s not something to be taken lightly, it’s also not necessarily an immediate death sentence. Unlike human Leukemia, Feline leukemia is a virus. It can only be transmitted to other cats so humans, dogs and other species cannot get it. We recommend FELV cats be single cats or with another FELV cat. The prognosis differs for each infected cat. Some cats pass away in a few years while other live a good long life.
