‘I first saw Bijou on a Facebook group where her foster family had posted a write-up looking for someone to adopt her and honestly, I fell in love right away. When I brought her home I knew she was a special cat, always wanting to snuggle up and giving me headbutts right away. They told me she wasn't a lap cat, but liked to cuddle on her terms.
Well, she's definitely a lap cat now! I work from home so she's my work buddy, sitting on my lap while I'm on the computer, following me around the house, always at my feet. I can't imagine my life without her. I've moved across Canada and now I'm in the UK and she's come with me, not making a fuss, which I'm thankful for because I feel so much less lonely moving to a new city when she's around to cuddle whenever I need her. I always think how lucky I am to have found such a wonderful cat, and from a Facebook post of all things. Plus her goofy faces and cute meows make me laugh every day!’
